Business Development Manager

Seeking Business Development/Sales Representative to help develop sales strategies and cultivate sales department. Candidate must be savvy with computers, have Microsoft Office experience and polished business communication skills. Position requires extensive sales knowledge with the ability to create leads independently. The candidate is required to create funnels of income that can be projected months out. Must be able to strategically plan, be a successful negotiator, have project management skills.

Job Details

  • Identify opportunities with municipalities and private sectors within the wastewater and CCTV Inspection market.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, market research, participate in wastewater events and site visits to prospective clients.
  • Maintain leads by setting reminders and follow up appointments.
  • Must be a self-starter with focused attention to detail and can easily redirect to stay on track.
  • Set up and maintain an online presence for BID opportunities through various sectors. Seek out new BIDs and complete the BID from start to finish.
  • Foster current business relationships with key clientele.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry developments, including market positioning of corporate competitors.
  • Assess client needs and the company’s ability to meet those needs thinking creatively.
  • Prepare status reports on goals for yourself and the team.
  • Using customer relationship management (CRM) software, such as HubSpot to manage interactions.
  • Must display initiative, leadership, and independent thinking in a team environment; strong ability to solve problems as they arise.

· Ability to present our company professionally via proven interpersonal, verbal and written skills.

· Must have advanced presentation skills to introduce or services in a professional manner.

· Must have advanced sales technique and negotiating skills.

· Provides vision for long-term marketplace viability and success.

· Can lead business development and marketing activities, including planning and strategy for a specifically assigned market segment and regions.

· Lead efforts to research and determine qualified target areas, projects, and clients.

· Establish and maintain an external presence in the marketplace.

· Prepare and execute business development action plans for specific targets. As well as direct the sales team on ways to put these plans in motion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
